Validation

Validation is how Parbat tests a move before it reaches your store. It runs your current price and the candidate prices past simulated shoppers built from your store’s own behavior, compares the results, and checks the move against your guardrails.

  • Quick validation (directional): a fast first read. Good for deciding whether a move is worth a closer look.
  • Validation: the standard depth for a ship decision.
  • Deeper validation: more simulated shoppers, for a tighter answer. Choose Run deeper validation in the drawer.
  • Validated and ready to ship: the move passed its checks. You decide whether it ships.
  • Validation running: a validation is in progress, with an estimate such as “~12 min”.
  • Awaiting validation: the move hasn’t been tested yet. Z updates it when the evidence lands, usually by morning.

A running validation shows its own estimate. Otherwise, expect results within about 24 hours; deeper validation results are expected within 24 hours of the request.

Some moves wait for validation because the product has too few sessions to test yet, or because its projected value is small next to today’s other moves. Parbat re-checks them every day. To test one sooner, open it and validate it.

You don’t have to wait for a recommendation. Choose Validate a move in chat, pick a product and a price you’re considering, and Parbat validates it the same way.
