Recommendations and the Evidence Pack

A recommendation is one move: one product, or a group of variants priced together, and one proposed price.

Recommendations appear in chat and in your Daily Briefing as a card titled My recommendation. It shows:

  • the decision, for example “Ship $42.” or “Hold at $39 for now.”
  • the projected impact in dollars over 30 days, against your current price
  • how often the product sells, so you can see how quickly results will show

Cards never ship anything. Choose View evidence to open the drawer.

The drawer explains the decision and is the only place you ship or roll back a move.

  • Why: two to four plain reasons for the recommendation.
  • What would change this decision: the conditions that would make Z recommend something else.
  • Evidence Pack: the detail behind the projection, including:
    • Checks: each guardrail and requirement the move must pass, and whether it did
    • Tested prices: every price Parbat tested, and how each compared with your current price
    • Timeline and Evidence history: what happened to this move and when

The headline number is our best estimate of the 30-day change in gross profit. The Evidence Pack shows how confident we are in it. Projections are adjusted for how well this store’s past validations have held up: the less certain a validation, the more the projection is pulled toward no change.

A projection is never shown as a result. Once a move ships, measured results appear separately. See Measuring results.

At the bottom of the drawer:

  • Ship changes the price of a single variant.
  • Ship to all variants (N) changes every variant in a price group together.

You’ll see “Done — price updated.” when the new price is live in Shopify. Shipping and rolling back are open to workspace owners and admins. See Your team.

If a move is larger than your largest-single-move limit, the button says so, for example Ship $48 anyway, so a big change is always a deliberate choice.
